The Art of Longevity Experience Day – Comprising of two industry leading workshops for surfers and non-surfers
Kick off the day learning how you can improve your performance and longevity in the water under the guidance of Surfing legend and 2x World Surfing Champion, Thomas Carroll. As well as the Holistic Coach Rodrigo Perez founder of the Surf Movement method and Holistic Pro Health.
✅ Surf Specific Warm ups. Surfing can be an incredibly invigorating and exhilarating hobby, but it can also be physically demanding. To make the most out of your time on the waves, and to avoid the risk of injury, it’s important to prepare your body with specific warm-up exercises.
✅ Learn Neural Activation Methods.Another essential component of your warm-up should be to activate your nervous system through some neural-sensitization exercises. Neural-activation exercises work by stimulating your neural pathways, which are responsible for transmitting information from your brain to your muscles. This can be especially beneficial to surfers, who need to be able to react quickly to the constantly changing environment of the ocean.
✅ Discover Power Paddling for Surfing. One of the most important aspects of surfing is being able to effectively paddle out and catch waves. By using the correct paddling techniques, you can extend the longevity of your surfing career and improve your performance.
✅ Learn how you can improve Upper Body Strength
Resistance training can be used to increase upper body strength and improve your paddling performance. Push-ups, pull-ups, and chin-ups are great exercises for increasing upper body strength. Incorporating these exercises into your training routine can lead to a significant improvement in paddling speed and stamina.

MEET YOUR COACHES
Holistica Movement Method is a culmination throughout my 20+ years as a coach training elite level athletes and every day ‘life athletes’. The Holistica Movement Lvl 1 is an introduction to the Holistica Pro Health Performance® fitness and well-being system for those who want to build a solid foundation to develop greater physical competencies, movement and mental skills.
In this first level you will be introduced to a variety of drills, protocols, and exercises to enhance your coordination, stability, mobility, and strength.
Establishing this solid foundation with a high performance health lifestyle, we can progress to more advanced levels of moments, skills, and flow in our movement sequences. All movements and technique variations in this introductory level are tailored to suit each students’ skills and strength levels. Tom is a former professional surfer and has practiced daily meditation for over a decade. During the retreat he will be teaching you the Vedic traditions as well as simple fundamentals which can be implemented into your daily practice.

Workshop two has been designed for surfers and non-surfers. The Art of Longevity workshop will take you through a journey of breath and flow and will show you how to build a solid foundation for longevity.
✅ Understand Key Movement Concepts: Improve movement, breathing, core activation and flow to address the roots causes of pains, poor alignment and performance.
✅Learn meditation and breath practices:Learn Vedic traditions as well as simple fundamentals which can be implemented into your daily practice.
